Terms and Conditions

GENERAL:

  • A one-time $30 administration fee per family will be charged at initial registration. This gives you access to our convenient Parent Portal for all future enrollments, which will grant you an early registration advantage for Summer Camps! Please note that after more than a year of inactivity in our database, you will be removed from the system and will need to register and pay this fee again.

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, or e-transfer to info@artsiesinc.com. Credit card payments can be made through our online Parent Portal.

  • If a class/camp were to be cancelled due to low enrolment, registrants would be notified and refunds issued immediately (minus the $30.00 registration fee).

  • No refunds are given after 2 classes in a school-year session. If a student withdraws before the first 2 classes, a refund will be issued, minus the pro-rated cost of one class, the $30.00 registration fee, and any credit card fees charged to ARTSies Inc. (2.60%).

  • There are no reimbursements for missed classes, though we make every effort to catch students up.

  • No personal video recording or photography is allowed during our shows. We have purchased a licence that gives us the right to record, and we’ll share that video with you via YouTube. This past year we invested in two new 4K cameras to provide a better-quality video!

  • We offer trial classes when possible! Get in touch for details.

  • Refer a friend who joins any of our programs and receive a discount! Ask us for details! We really appreciate you spreading the word. (One referral discount per session)

  • We believe that quality arts education, and more specifically, stage experience, should be accessible for everyone in our community. While the overhead costs to run our programs have risen in recent years, we work very hard to provide top notch value and keep the price as low as possible.  We’re happy to work with parents as needed to create a payment plan, just let us know. We award a scholarship winner at every show in the school year as well!

PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS ONLY:

  • A Sibling Discount of $50 will be applied for the 2nd child and beyond- including both the Grade 1-8 and Teen Programs. (Please note that discounts are applied after we receive the enrolment)

THREE SESSION PROGRAMS:

  • Payment is due at least two weeks before the start date of each session, unless an alternate payment plan is agreed upon.

  • The Triple Threat payment plan offers the biggest savings to those who wish to commit to all three sessions and pay monthly tuition September through June. If you enroll in all three sessions, we’ll be in touch to set this up! (Not applicable to Private Lessons)

  • Early Bird- save $30 on any session that you register for between June 11th-20th 2024. No advance payment needed. (Please note that discounts are applied after we receive the enrolment. This can’t be used in conjunction with the Triple Threat payment plan. Not applicable to Private Lessons.)

  • Show tickets are only $25.00 each!

TEEN PROGRAM:

  • Teen Program tuition is divided into monthly payments of $250 +hst from September 1st to May 1st (minus any applicable discounts). Please note that the full year commitment is mandatory and there can be no withdrawals after the first 2 classes.

  • Early bird- save $50 by registering between June 11th-20th 2024. No advance payment needed. (Please note that discounts are applied after we receive the enrolment)

  • Ticket sales are essential to help cover costs of putting on multiple performances of a big musical. Every performer is asked to take ownership over this project by spreading the word, hanging posters, and aiming to sell at least 10 tickets each. Tickets are only $25.00 each, which is below the market average for youth theatre and performances!

PRIVATE LESSONS:

  • Makeup classes won’t be provided for last minute cancellations of private lessons. If more than 48 hours notice is given, we’ll make every attempt to find a date and time that works for both student and teacher for a virtual makeup lesson (limit 2 per session).

  • Online registration only opens for the Fall Session. From there, we give priority to those students wo want to continue into the Winter/Spring Sessions, and open any available spots online.

CAMPS:

  • Payments will be processed at the time of enrolment.

  • The final deadline to withdraw from Camp is May 1st 2024, after which, there will be no refunds issued. If withdrawal from Camp occurs prior to the deadline, we will issue a full refund, minus the one-time registration fee (if applicable) and any credit card fees charged to ARTSies Inc (2.60%).

  • We need a minimum of 60 bus riders total to provide two separate buses. If there isn’t that demand, we’ll need to streamline to one bus for both locations, which just means pick and drop off times will shift. Any changes will be confirmed by May 1st 2024.

  • If we don’t get enough campers for two separate shows, we’ll need to cancel the Friday evening “Senior” performance and streamline it back to one Thursday evening show. Any changes will be communicated before May 1st 2024.
